The 2010 Academy of Country Music Award nominees were announced Tuesday, and Montgomery Gentry are already winners. The country duo will be this year's recipient of the prestigious ACM/Home Depot Humanitarian Award.

"Thanks to everyone out there who has helped us to get where we are today," says Eddie Montgomery. "We just want to make sure we do our part in making the world a little better."

Over the years, Eddie and the duo's other half, Troy Gentry, have done extensive work and support for the U.S. military, TJ Martell Foundation, Make-a-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee, Camp Horsin' Around in Lexington, Ky., St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Hospice of the Bluegrass, Multiple Myeloma Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation and several other causes.

Past recipients of the Humanitarian Award include Rascal Flatts and LeAnn Rimes. The 45th Annual ACM Awards show will air live, April 18 on CBS.
