In a tragic end to what began as an evening of fun, the body of a fan who went missing from a recent Jason Aldean concert in Cleveland has been found in a local landfill.

22-year-old Cory Barron was last seen by friends at around 9:30PM at Aldean's concert at Progressive Field on July 18. He was reported missing the following day. Friends, family, law enforcement and the local community banded together to help look for the missing man. Searchers even took to social media to reach out for help, using the hashtag #HelpFindCory.

The search ended on Tuesday (July 22), when a worker at a local landfill discovered Barron's body in a dumpster full of trash that was collected from the show. According to 19 Action News, the local sheriff's office has confirmed that the body is that of Cory Barron. Investigators discovered a concert ticket on his person, along with identification.

Though Barron's cause of death is not yet known, authorities believe he may have fallen into a garbage chute at the concert venue, which led to the dumpster.

Aldean took to social media to respond to the tragic news.

Authorities from the Cleveland Police are still investigating Barron's death, along with the Lorain County Sheriff's Office.

The Boot extends our condolences to the family and friends of Cory Barron.
