Reigning ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert recently recorded an episode of Austin City Limits that will premiere on Saturday (Nov. 4), and The Boot's readers are getting a sneak peek at one of her performances ahead of the show's debut. Readers can press play above to watch Lambert perform "Vice" for ACL.

Without much more introduction than a few notes from the keyboard, the crowd falls completely quiet as Lambert launches into the intro of “Vice.” The song's raw vulnerability, paired with Lambert’s incomparable vocals, is exactly what makes it such a great song, especially when performed live.

Lambert's most recent Austin City Limits performance was her third time playing for ACL, the iconic music-focused TV show that tapes in Austin, Texas; it came more than a decade after her debut appearance in 2006. When her Austin City Limits episode airs, Lambert’s stirring performance of “Vice” will be about a third of the way through her nearly hour-long set, just after “For the Birds.”

"Vice" is the first track that Lambert released after her highly publicized divorce from Blake Shelton in the summer of 2015. In an interview shortly after the song's release in the summer of 2016, Lambert explained, “I wrote this at the exact time of the s--t hitting the fan. I think it’s great, though. It’s documented on paper with emotion.”

Fans can watch Lambert's full episode of Austin City Limits on PBS; the episode premieres on Nov. 4 at 9PM ET, and will be available online for a short time after its debut. Visit ACLTV.com for more information about air dates and times.
