Miranda Lambert is heading to "Project Runway." The singer-songwriter, whose love of fashion inspired her to open the new Pink Pistol store in Oklahoma, will be a guest judge on an upcoming episode of the hit Lifetime series.

The Texas-born singer has a strong sense of what style works for her. "Although most of my time is spent in jeans and a t-shirt, on occasion I love to get dressed up," she explains. "Whether it's for red carpet events or a performance out on the road, I love to mix my girly side with my more rock 'n' roll side."

Miranda isn't the first country star to appear on the reality TV fashion show. That would be Faith Hill who joined Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia in 2010 to help pick the season's winner.

Other guest judges appearing on the upcoming season of "Project Runway" include Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, John Legend, Emmy Rossum and Kristin Davis. No word yet on when Miranda's episode will air. Season 11 of "Project Runway" will premiere Jan. 24 at 9:00 PM ET on Lifetime.

Miranda kicks off her Locked & Reloaded tour with Dierks Bentley in Columbia, S.C., on Jan. 17, 2013. See a list of their upcoming dates here.
