Lady Gaga must be some kind of charmer. After sitting next to the eccentric pop diva at the Grammys earlier this month, a smitten Miranda Lambert tweeted all about their newfound odd-couple friendship. Now, the country star has even started covering Gaga's 'You and I' in concert.

Miranda debuted her version last Sunday (Feb. 19) in Greensboro, N.C. (video below), and she aired it again in San Antonio two nights later. As far as Gaga tracks are concerned, 'You and I' is about as twangy as it gets, and Miranda has no trouble putting her own spin on the song. In North Carolina, she even took liberties with the Lady's lyrics, changing the line about a "Nebraska guy" to reflect the state she was in.

Gaga's much-anticipated Born This Way Ball world tour doesn't start until April, so if she wants to return the compliment and work up a version of 'Heart Like Mine' or 'Gunpowder & Lead,' she's got plenty of time. Miranda just might be in the front row to hear it.
