The Nashville Predators hosted their first home Stanley Cup Final game in franchise history on Saturday night (June 3), and Martina McBride had the honor of performing the National Anthem prior to puck drop. Readers can press play above to watch her performance.

Fans may have known McBride's Anthem performance was coming: On Thursday (June 1), the Tennessean reports, her daughter Delaney posted a picture, on her private Facebook page, of her father, John McBride, with the Stanley Cup. She captioned the shot, "When your dad gets to hang with the Stanley Cup? Oh and Tina is singing the anthem on Saturday. LOOK OUT.”

The Nashville Predators’ National Anthem singers during the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs have, thus far, all been country stars: Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan sang the Anthem during the Preds’ two home Round 1 playoff games, while Little Big TownVince Gill and his daughters Jenny and Corinna and Lady Antebellum sang during Round 2. For Nashville's three home games during Round 3, the Western Conference Final series, Keith UrbanKelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood did the honors.

Prior to Game 3, the Predators were trailing the Pittsburgh Penguins two games to none. Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Monday (June 5) in Nashville; should the series go to six games, the Preds will also host that matchup, on June 11.

McBride spent February and March on the road for her Love Unleashed Tour, in partnership with with CMT’s Next Women of Country franchise. On June 6, she'll take part in a collaborative show with Earth, Wind & Fire, and on June 11, she will perform at Bonnaroo 2017, in Manchester, Tenn., as part of the Bluegrass Situation Roots SuperJam.
