Luke Bryan Performs Emotional Tribute to Siblings with ‘Drink a Beer’ at 2013 CMA Awards [Video]

Luke Bryan took the stage for his second performance at the 2013 CMA Awards with an emotional performance of ‘Drink A Beer’ in honor of his brother, Chris, and sister, Kelly,  who passed away in 1996 and 2007.

“This is the coolest sad song ever,” Bryan said this week in a press release. “It holds a special place in my heart and I am honored the writers allowed me to record it.”

One of those writers, Chris Stapleton, joined Bryan onstage for the performance.

Bryan debuted the new single during the awards.  It is the third to be released off his chart-topping album ‘Crash My Party,’ which debuted at No. 1. He was nominated for three awards at this year’s CMAs.
