Love and Theft’s Stephen Barker Liles Expecting Baby with Fiancee

Love and Theft's Stephen Barker Liles has announced that he's expecting a child with his fiancee, Jenna Michelle Kennedy.

The couple are expecting their first child on Dec. 3, they revealed to People. “It’s perfect timing,” the 29-year-old musician says. “December is our freest month of the year so if all goes according to plan, I’ll be home with Jenna and the baby.”

The couple got engaged on May 28 on the beach in Fort Myers, Fla. They plan to marry in June of 2014, but those plans may take a back seat to their new addition. “Right now we’re more focused on nursery colors than wedding colors,” 26-year-old Kennedy admits with a laugh.

Liles' Love and Theft band mate, Eric Gunderson, and his wife Emily just welcomed their first child in March -- which was two months earlier than the expected arrival date in May.

“That was a surprise for everyone and definitely taught us to be prepared for anything!” Liles reflects.

Love and Theft are in the middle of finishing up their summer run of shows. Their current single, 'If You Ever Get Lonely,' is presently at radio. The song is the third single from their self-titled second album.
