LoCash's "I Know Somebody" music video is the familiar boy-meets-girl story, but with a twist. Drawing on fond childhood memories, the rising country duo decided to set their new clip at a rollerskating rink in 1998 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Fans will get a kick out of the video's late-'90s vibe (and fashions!), which follows the story of a roller rink employee, fittingly named Cash, and the pretty girl he spies hanging out with her friends. Early on, viewers can tell by Cash's face that he's fallen for the girl with the high ponytail held up by a Scrunchie -- but it takes a little bit for him to work up the courage to approach her.

"I love the retro concept of this video,” says LoCash's Preston Brust in a press release. “I think it’s a breath of fresh air in the midst of some of the more ‘predictable’ videos that are out there right now, and it fits what the lyrics of the song are saying so well."

Thankfully, by the end of the clip, there's some '90s-style romance goin' on between the two main characters. Viewers will also see Brust and bandmate Chris Lucas performing "I Know Somebody" at the skating rink. Readers can press play on the video above to watch.

"We knew that we didn’t want to make a familiar girl-walks-into-a-bar kind of video," say video directors Ry and Drew Cox. "We have some fond childhood memories of hitting the roller rink with friends back in LA, and something about that setting, and even that time period of the late '90s, fills us with nostalgia ... The guys caught the vision and really made it their own, tying the story together and bringing the energy with an awesome performance."

“I Know Somebody” was written by Rhett Akins, Jeremy Stover and Ross Copperman. The song is one of the six tracks that make up LoCash's I Love This Life EP, which was released last year; it also has a spot on their recently released The Fighters album. "I Know Somebody" and both of LoCash's recent projects are available for download on iTunes.
