Lee Ann Womack, Darius Rucker to Announce CMA Nods

Lee Ann Womack and Darius Rucker will reveal the final nominees for the 2009 CMA Awards live on ABC-TV, Sept. 9 from the Times Square studios of 'Good Morning America.' The live announcements will take place during the 8:30 AM (ET) half-hour of the morning news show.

"I was so honored to perform at the 2008 CMA Awards Show, and I feel privileged to be a part of this year's nominee announcement," says Darius, who's had an incredible year in country music and is likely to hear his name mentioned a few times during the morning telecast.

The 43rd Annual CMA Awards are set to air live from Nashville on Nov. 11 at 8:00 PM ET on ABC. For the second year in a row, reigning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year Brad Paisley and reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Carrie Underwood will host the star-studded event.
