Kenny Chesney will spend part of his Thanksgiving Day at Dallas Cowboys Stadium, where he's set to kick off the Salvation Army's 122nd annual Red Kettle holiday fund drive. The country superstar is also offering fans the opportunity to join him on the football field at halftime.

"There are great traditions in America -- especially Thanksgiving, family and football," says the singer. "For 16 years, the Dallas Cowboys and the Salvation Army have been an American tradition and I'm happy to be a part of it. I'm calling on all of my fans to not only give back this year but also send in their best football highlights videos for a chance to see me live in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day."

Fans hoping to win tickets to the game, including a chance to meet Kenny in person, can submit a 60-second video of youth (pre-collegiate) football highlights. More information on the Boys of Fall contest can be found here.

Kenny's appearance will occur at halftime during the game between the Cowboys and the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 22). The Red Kettle campaign kick-off was first held in Dallas in 1996.

"The longstanding partnership between the Cowboys and The Salvation Army is deeply meaningful especially for those in need," Charlotte Jones Anderson, Dallas Cowboys EVP of Brand Management and Chairperson of the Salvation Army's National Advisory Board said in a statement. "We know Kenny and his commitment to the Army will make this a year to remember."

The campaign, which raised $7.6 million in 2011, also accepts online donations. A select number of standing-room-only tickets are still available for the game and can be purchased here. Coverage of the Red Kettle kick-off and the Thanksgiving Day game will air on FOX, beginning at 3:15 PM CT.
