Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman had "date night" on Sunday night (Sept. 17), at the 2017 Emmy Awards. Together, the two walked the red carpet, attended the awards ceremony ... and celebrated Kidman's first Emmys win at an HBO party later that night.

Kidman won her first Emmys trophy, for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie, for her role as Celeste Wright in the HBO series Big Little Lies. She made sure to thank both Urban ("my darling Keith," she called him) and their daughters, Sunday and Faith, during her acceptance speech.

"They have to sacrifice so much for it," Kidman said (quote via Us Weekly). "I want my little girls to have this on their shelf and to look at it and go, ‘Every time my momma didn't put me to bed, it is because of this' ... But also I want them to know that sometimes when you are acting, you get a chance to bring a bigger message, and this is their contribution and your contribution."

In addition to Kidman's Emmys win, Big Little Lies and its cast picked up seven more trophies on Sunday night. The series' victories came in, among others, the Outstanding Miniseries, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie categories. Big Little Lies and its cast earned a total of 16 nominations at the 2017 Emmy Awards.
