Kacey Musgraves strolled the red carpet in style at the 2019 Grammy Awards ceremony, wearing an ethereal strapless gown belted with a red sash. Pulling on her futuristic influences, Musgraves' dress was topped with fanned-out tulle, putting a unique twist on an elegant classic.

On the red carpet, the Golden Hour singer explained that the dress was a tip of the hat to the cover of her most recent album: "I guess a little secret is that it kinda reminded me of a fan, which is kind of a nod to the cover of my album," Musgraves told ET. "So that's one reason why I really liked it."

At the 2019 ceremony, Musgraves notched nominations for Album of the Year (for her 2018 studio album, Golden Hour), as well as Best Country Album (also for Golden Hour), Best Country Song (for "Space Cowboy") and Best Country Solo Performance (for "Butterflies").

Golden Hour has already earned Musgraves the trophy of Album of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards in November of that year. She has been nominated for five Grammys since breaking into the music industry in 2014, and has won two of those awards: Best Country Song and Best Country Album. However, the 2019 ceremony marks Musgraves' first general field Grammy Awards nomination.

Additionally, Musgraves is scheduled to perform during the evening's proceedings as part of a tribute to country icon and 2019 MusiCares Person of the Year Dolly Parton. For that very special performances, she will be joined by Little Big Town, Maren Morris and more entertainers.
