Shooting the photos for a new album cover can be dangerous ... Just ask Justin Moore! On social media, Moore recently shared some new music news -- but he also revealed a gruesome injury that came along with the record creation process.

On Thursday (Jan. 31), Moore shared a photo of his photoshoot battle wounds: During the session, the singer says, a horse stepped on his leg and foot! His leg is cut up and badly bruised, but Moore kept his sense of humor about the situation.

"Anything for art!" Moore writes. "Hopefully we got the shot though!"

And while Moore's fans are glad he's okay, they're likely also excited to hear the other piece of news he dropped into his post: His next album will be called Late Nights and Longnecks. A release date and further details are not yet available, but Moore did release a single from the project, "The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home," in October.

Moore last released a new album, Kinda Don't Care, in 2016. That record hit No. 1 on the country charts and spawned two No. 1 and gold-certified singles.
