Justin Moore Anties Up for Daughter’s First Birthday

Happy birthday to Justin Moore's baby girl, Ella Kole, who turns one on Friday, February 11! The first-time dad says he's planning a big celebration, though not as grandiose as the one his wife, Kate, had in mind.

"I've already turned down a petting zoo [and] a cotton candy maker, but she's gotten away with a bunch of ridiculous stuff," Justin tells GAC. "I'm looking right now at a bag of M&Ms that have Ella's face printed on 'em. That's one example. My guitar player and my cousin, who's actually his girlfriend, are dressing up as Mickey and Minnie Mouse for the party. And I don't mean like they're putting ears on their heads, like they had to go get fitted for their costumes that cost me God knows what."

Justin is admittedly a novice when it comes to birthday decor. "There's a big pink -- I don't even know. It's like garland and big pink balls and mesh," says the singer. "It's like a flamingo exploded on our front door right now. I've never even heard of a birthday door decoration in my life."

Still, Justin may have to get used to having more pink around on a regular basis. On the road with Miranda Lambert as part of her Revolution Continues tour, Justin recently upgraded his living arrangements to accommodate his wife and child. "I got another bus this year, too, so that they can out on the road with me a lot," he says. "So Ella will get used to the road life, too."
