Josh Thompson Is Psyched for the ‘Water’ Works

This month, country newcomer Josh Thompson gears up to hit the road with Brad Paisley on the H2O World Tour. Josh, along with Steel Magnolia and Easton Corbin, will perform on the outdoor stage in the afternoon, followed by Justin Moore, Darius Rucker and Brad, who will take the stage inside for a full night of entertainment.

"It's going to be fun. I can't wait to get out there," Josh tells The Boot. "Brad draws in a lot of people. The fact that I was on the list of people he would like to have out says a lot. I'm glad to do it, and I can't wait to get the ball rolling!"

Although Josh says he hasn't had too many encounters with Brad, he looks forward to building a friendship with the musician whose work he so greatly admires. "I love Brad's songwriting," Josh notes. "He's got a beat on real good, traditional country music that's very modern. His subjects are fresh. I've only talked to him briefly, but he seems like a really good, genuine guy ... and a great guitar player! There are so many aspects to Paisley that make him cool."
