Johnny CashJohnny Cash's final studio recording, 'American VI: Ain't No Grave,' is an album dealing with spiritual themes -- among them, mortality, resurrection and everlasting life. A new website titled the Johnny Cash Project pays tribute to those themes, seeking contributions of artistry from people around the world and helping to bring the indelible image of the Man in Black to life through a unique visual medium.

Described as a "global collective art project," the just-launched site invites participants to "share your vision of Johnny Cash, as he lives on in your mind's eye." Working with a single image as a template, and using a custom drawing tool, visitors to the site create a unique and personal portrait of the legendary superstar.

That work is then combined with art from participants around the world, and integrated into what becomes a music video for 'Ain't No Grave,' with the one-of-a-kind images strung together and played in sequence over the song on the site. The result is a moving, ever-changing homage to the icon. Once your image has been created, submitted and appears in the video (don't worry, you don't to be a master artist to contribute!), your name is added to the credits section, recognizing you as one of the creators of the video.
