Joe Nichols has released the video for his latest tune, 'Yeah.' The song is the second single from his Top 5 'Crickets' album.

In the video, Nichols and the other characters are part of a comic book scene that acts out as the story of the song unfolds. Wes Edwards -- whose lengthy list of credits includes Dierks Bentley's 'Drunk On a Plane' and Jason Aldean's 'Night Train' -- directed the video.

'Crickets' is Nichols' first release on Red Bow Records, a division of Broken Bow. His debut single from the album, 'Sunny and 75' soared all the way to the top of the charts. The song marked his first time in the No. 1 spot since his 2009 hit, 'Gimmie That Girl' from his 'It's All Good' album, which was released on Show Dog-Universal.

“It’s not like I left radio when I was on top,” he concedes. “I’d kind of limped off, and I know the appearance of that. It looked like the end of my career. So it was scary to go back to radio with something completely new and say, ‘I’m back. New deal. New songs. Tell me what you think.’”

It seems radio, and his fans, approve of his new music. Nichols is serving as the opening act on select dates of Lady Antebellum's Take Me Downtown Tour, and is also performing several solo shows over the summer, including a stop at Country Jam, which takes place from June 19-22 in Grand Junction, Colo.
