The AFC Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Jets just got a little bit country. Joe Nichols has been announced as the half-time entertainment during the game, which takes place on Sunday and will be broadcast live from Heinz Field beginning at 6:30 PM ET on CBS.

"I am a sports fanatic and being able to perform at halftime for the fans of the Steelers and the Jets is such a thrill for me," Joe said. "One of these teams will be going to the Super Bowl -- enough said! So being able to pump the fans up, even more than they already will be, is my goal. Thanks to the Steelers' organization for making it happen."

Joe will most likely perform some of his biggest songs, as well as his latest Top 20 single 'The Shape I'm In,' as they are included on his new 'Greatest Hits' collection hitting stores on Tuesday, January 25. The Arkansas native will also release the new video for 'The Shape I'm In' on Monday.

Following his performance in Pittsburgh, Joe will head to Walker, Minn., for a show on January 29. For more of Joe's tour dates, click here.
