Jimmie Allen's new song "Make Me Want To" is an infectious romantic romp into an impulsive love affair. Readers can press play above to listen to the latest track, which comes off of Allen's upcoming debut album, Mercury Lane. The sultry lyrics, written by Allen along with Paul Sikes and Jennifer Denmark, are set to a catchy melody, delivered in Allen's charismatic style.

"Long legs, cut off jeans / Pullin' me in like a magnet / Your eyes locked on me / I knew I better had to have you / Right here in the middle of the floor / With this hole in the wall on a backstreet / I knew I had to get close to you," the first verse opens, with a sexy first glimpse in a bar that leads to an introduction, and much more.

"Girl what's your name, what you drinkin'? / Yeah what's your favorite song? / If you're thinkin' what I'm thinkin' / We ain't gonna be in this bar too long," Allen continues through the fun-loving song. "We'll be sneakin' on out to your car / Stealin' kisses out there in the dark / Yeah it might be too soon to say I love you / But you're gonna make me want to."

"Make Me Want To" follows Allen's heartfelt debut single, "Best Shot," which has been climbing the charts since he dropped it in 2017. Both tracks will be included on Mercury Lane, which comes out Oct. 12 but is available for pre-order now. Following the album's release, Allen will hit the road with fellow country singer Scotty McCreery in support of his Seasons Change Tour, which kicks off in November.
