Jennifer Nettles Closes Out 'CMA Country Christmas' With Peanuts

Jennifer Nettles closed out the CMA Country Christmas on Monday night (Dec. 2), with a performance of the song, 'Christmas Time Is Here.'

The song, which appears on the iconic TV special, 'A Charlie Brown Christmas,' took on a new meaning with Nettles' bluesy performance of the tune. With a backdrop of Peanuts characters, the new mom of one-year-old Magnus caught the spirit of the season with her rendition of the holiday classic.

Nettles, who also served as the evening's host, concluded by inviting Mary J. Blige to return to the stage to sing 'Walking in a Winter Wonderland,' as live Peanuts characters roamed throughout the audience.

The remaining members of the all-star cast also returned to stage to join in on the fun tune, ending the two-hour show on a fun, light-hearted note.
