Jana Kramer has been selected as the grand marshal for the 62nd annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade.

The theme of this year's parade is "Miracle on Broadway" and will also feature the Nashville Ballet, the Vanderbilt "Spirit of Gold" marching band and lots of balloons and floats. All of the money raised from the parade will go to Share the Warmth, Piedmont Natural Gas' energy assistance program, which helps low-income families by paying their energy bills.

“The Nashville community is strong and filled with amazing people,” Kramer says. “It is an honor to join the Nashville Christmas Parade, and I can’t express how excited I am to be a part of it.”

The 62nd annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place in downtown Music City on Dec. 5 beginning at 10AM. The parade will begin at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Broadway and head east down Broadway to Second Avenue North, cross over the Cumberland River and end at the base of the Woodland Street Bridge. More information is available on the parade's website.

Kramer released her newest project, Thirty One, in October. She and her new husband, Michael Caussin, are awaiting the arrival of their first baby, who is due early next year.

“Being a mom will be the greatest job I’ll ever have,” the 31-year-old says. “I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be on this journey with the love of my life.”

Thirty One is currently available on Amazon and iTunes.
