Country music has certainly seen a wave of celebrities from movies, TV and other genres of music try to cross over into Nashville notoriety. Some of them have flourished, others have flopped, and the common denominator of the former seems to be a true dedication to their second job. That's something 'One Tree Hill' actress Jana Kramer does not take lightly in her own pursuit of a country career.

"People say, 'Oh, she's just an actress trying to be a musician,'" Jana laments to The Boot. "And I say, 'No, I'm serious about this. I bought a house in Nashville! I moved here before I even got a record deal. I just had the mindset of, 'I'm here, whether it takes me three years or three months.' And I just love it. Nashville is so groovy and fun."

Grateful for the fans who have followed her from the small screen to the radio airwaves, Jana may be concentrating on music now, but she hasn't forgotten her celebrity roots. "I wouldn't be here without my 'One Tree Hill' fans," she says. "They are so passionate and supportive, and they just have my side no matter what."

In fact, Jana premiered her first single, 'I Won't Give Up,' on 'One Tree Hill' back in February. She's also performed the catchy songs 'Whiskey' and 'Why You Wanna' on the show. Combined, the tracks have garnered the brunette beauty almost 100,000 downloads in just a matter of a few months.

As for which song Jana will release to country radio next, the Michigan native is having to keep it secret for a while ... and she's like a kid waiting for Christmas!

"I can't say the title yet, but I can tell you that it's uptempo and fun; you're just going to want to dance to it and sing out loud," Jana says with a big smile. "It goes to radio in September, so I'll need all my 'One Tree Hill' fans to call and request it!"
