It took Jamey Johnson 25 songs to complete his latest album, ''The Guitar Song,' but just one week for the sprawling collection to top the Billboard Top Country Albums chart! Selling 63,000 discs in the first week, 'The Guitar Song' also strummed its way to the No. 4 spot on the multi-genre Billboard 200.

Although Jamey had recorded enough songs to fill a double album, he was apprehensive about whether the time was right to unleash a two-disc collection on the public. "Luke Lewis [head of his record label, Universal Music Group] and I talked about that," Jamey tells The Boot. "First there was the economy, and then I didn't know if people would be interested enough to buy two albums to get the whole message."

Seems enough record buyers were interested to help Jamey knock Lady Antebellum down to the No. 2 spot. 'The Guitar Song' is the follow-up to Jamey's critically-acclaimed 'That Lonesome Song.'

In this video, Jamey shares the intimate stories behind the tunes on the new album.
