Gwyneth Paltrow has exploded onto the country music scene with her starring role in the upcoming film, 'Country Strong.' After having hit the airwaves with the title track in July, the Oscar winner is set to make her live country music singing debut on the CMA Awards Wednesday night, November 10. And after she gets her nerves under control, she says she'll be able to get through the performance, hopefully without incident.

"I actually feel better now. I was really bad last week, all week," Gwyneth tells The Boot. "I lost my appetite and I couldn't sleep, but this week I feel much better. I feel prepared. I realize that I'm the most scared of the nerves. I feel prepared for the song, but if I can just keep the nerves under control, I'll hopefully survive it."

Gwyneth will have a familiar face and voice on stage with her -- Vince Gill, who sings background vocals on the song from the film's soundtrack and will perform live with her on the CMAs.

In addition to her performance on tomorrow night's show, Gwyneth is also looking forward to meeting just about everybody she can before and after, and has a few key folks in mind. "I would love to meet my contemporary favorites, such as Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley, and I'd also love to meet George Strait. He seems like he's there every year. I would love to meet him if he's there."

On Monday night, the Oscar-winning actress walked the red carpet for the Music City premiere of her new film, along with her co-stars Tim McGraw and Leighton Meester, co-producers Tobey Maguire and Jenno Topping, as well as many of Nashville's brightest stars, including Faith Hill, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Steel Magnolia and Jerrod Niemann.

As far as her time spent in Nashville making the film and recording the soundtrack, Gwyneth says she could not have been happier. "I'm just so grateful to be here right now. This has been the most amazing experience to do this film and get to sing these songs. I can't believe that one of them is on the radio. I'm thrilled!"

'Country Strong' opens in Nashville on December 22 and nationwide January 7.

Catch Gwyneth's performance, plus many others, when the '44th Annual CMA Awards,' hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, airs from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 10, beginning at 8:00 PM (ET) on ABC.
