In the aftermath of Sunday night's (Oct. 1) devastating shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, Nev., a GoFundMe account has been established in order to raise money for the victims and the families of those killed and injured during the tragedy. Donations have been pouring into the campaign since it was established early on Monday (Oct. 2).

Organized by Clark County Commission Chair Steve Sisolak, the GoFundMe account for Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting victims has raised more than $2 million dollars as of publication time. According to Sisolak's note on the GoFundMe campaign website, he organized the fundraiser after spending much of Sunday night at Clark County’s sole level-one trauma center, where victims of the shooting were being treated.

Funds from the GoFundMe account for Route 91 Harvest Festival victims will be “used to provide relief and financial support to the victims and families of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting,” reads the description.
