George Strait Announces ‘The Cowboy Rides Away’ Live Album

George Strait may be done touring, but fans will have the chance to revisit his legendary The Cowboy Rides Away farewell tour with a new live album.

Due out Sept. 16, 'The Cowboy Rides Away: Live From AT&T Stadium' is a 20-track disc, recorded at his record-shattering final show in Arlington, Texas on June 7. Strait performed for over 1 million fans during the two-year tour, including the crowd of 104,793.

The album will include plenty of Strait's 60 No. 1 hits, as well as performances with special guests Jason Aldean, Ray Benson, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert and Martina McBride.

CMT will also be airing a two-hour concert special, filmed at the AT&T Stadium show. 'George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away' premieres Aug 29. Check your local listings for times and more information.
