George Jones will soon be reunited with a guitar that was stolen from him 46 years ago. Larry Berry says he bought the guitar from two boys in his Fort Worth, Texas apartment complex back in 1962. He says he has tried several times over the years to give back the guitar but simply couldn't get in touch with Jones.

"I've written letters for years and called recording studios trying to find him," Berry says. "You can't believe how hard it's been.''

This year, he finally got through. He'll give the guitar back to Jones at a special presentation during the country legend's show in Bossier City, La. this Saturday.

The guitar was stolen from a Fort Worth nightclub where Jones was performing in 1962. Berry said the two boys asked $25 for it, but he bargained them down to $10.
