Gary Allan is recovering after surgery. The 'Every Storm Runs Out of Rain' singer underwent a procedure on his left knee on Monday (July 22).

A post to Allan's Facebook page assures fans he won't be canceling his upcoming shows:

Gary Allan had surgery this Monday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. Dr. Burton Elrod (team physician for the Tennessee Titans) operated on Allan and is pleased with the result. Allan plans to resume his tour schedule this Friday at the Horseshoe Casino in Robinsonville, MS.

When reached for comment, Allan said "I wanted to thank all of you for the well wishes and let you know I'm feeling great. I may be in a knee brace the next time you see me on the stage, but I’m looking forward to rocking Mississippi on Friday night!" -Team GA

Allan’s most recent album, ‘Set You Free,’ topped both the country and mainstream Billboard album charts upon its release in February. His current single is ‘Pieces.’

The singer-songwriter is scheduled to begin a fall tour with Sheryl Crow in Santa Barbara, Calif. on Sept. 13.
