Garth Brooks is getting ready to wrap up his most recent round of dates in Las Vegas, and the country superstar is bringing the show to a larger audience. Brooks has announced that he will televise the final performance of his critically acclaimed one man show on CBS.

'Garth Brooks Live From Las Vegas' will feature the iconic country star performing in the intimate setting of the Encore Theater at the Wynn Las Vegas, where he has been selling out shows for the last three years. The legendary performer will run through a number of his own biggest hits, as well as share stories about the influence of other artists like Merle Haggard, George Jones, Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor, Bob Seger and many more. Brooks will also perform some of their classics and demonstrate how those influences helped shape his own music.

"Blame it all on my roots," Brooks says in a press release. "This is the soundtrack of my life. Growing up the last of six kids, music was the life blood of our family and as you can imagine, mom, dad, and each kid had his or her own favorite stuff and it all funneled down to me."

"We're thrilled whenever we get the opportunity to create a television event with an amazing live performer, and there is no one better than Garth Brooks," says Jack Sussman, Executive Vice President, Specials & Events at CBS. "Garth will give the audience a rare opportunity to not only hear his classic hits, but also the music that became the soundtrack of his life and how those influences from the country, rock and pop worlds set him on the road to become the biggest selling solo artist in history."

Brooks has been performing at the Wynn while in self-imposed semi-retirement, allowing him to raise his kids while not working on the road. He is rumored to be planning an album and tour for 2014, when his youngest daughter graduates. Brooks has not commented publicly on those rumors.

'Garth Brooks Live From Las Vegas' will air live on Friday, Nov. 29 at 9PM ET on CBS.
