Florida Georgia Line's decision to release "Talk You Out of It" -- a sultrier, more R&B-inspired song off of their 2018 album Can't Say I Ain't Country -- was an intentional one. The duo says that they wanted to share a side of them that fans hadn't seen before, one that not only explores a new stylistic direction but also showcases their relationships with their wives.

To that end, bandmates Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard brought their wives into the process of making the song, even casting them in starring roles in its accompanying music video. Both FGL members agree that this decision both allowed them to spotlight their wives and made for an even more intimate and steamy finished product. Read on to learn more!

Brian Kelley: It's a little different for us: slowed down and extremely sexy. And it just felt like the next move.

It's a song we didn't write. Our good buddies and some of the best songwriters in town wrote it. [Editor's Note: Michael Hardy, Hunter Phelps, Jameson Rodgers and Alysa Vanderheym co-wrote "Talk You Out of It."]

It's just another way of showcasing what we do. We had a cool time shooting the video in a studio out in LA with our wives, kind of showcasing them.

It just felt like the right thing, you know? The next single shouldn't sound like anything that you've done before.

Tyler Hubbard: Plus, the first time we heard it, me and my wife made a baby.
