Florida Georgia Line burst into the spotlight with the release of their 2012 multi-platinum selling single, 'Cruise,' which soared to the top of the charts and sold more than six million units. The song was the debut single from their freshman album, 'Here's to the Good Times,' which stayed at No. 1 for an astonishing eight weeks last summer.

Now, the duo, made up of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, reveal that in between headlining their own Here's to the Good Times Tour and hitting the road with Jason Aldean on his Burn It Down Tour, they have also been writing songs for their sophomore album.

“We’re ready to let [Canadian producer] Joey Moi do his thing and bring them to life and get ‘em out there,” Hubbard tells the Canadian Press.

Moi produced all 11 tracks on their first album, which is why they are so eager to let him helm their next project as well.

“He has done an amazing job of taking our dreams and visions and creating this epic sound,” Kelley adds.

The FGL guys also credit rapper Nelly, who appeared with them in a remake of 'Cruise' (which garnered more than 29 million YouTube views), with helping them expand their fan base.

“You see a lot of different ages and a lot of different colors even,” Kelley notes. “You’ve got tons of different people coming to our shows. That’s what it’s all about, man. We want everybody. Come party with us. Seriously.”

The men, who met as college students, paved their way by playing local clubs, which is why they refuse to complain about their busy schedules.

“If we can make it through what we did to get here, this is easy now,” Kelley notes. “It was a lot of hard work, we’re busy as hell and there’s a lot expected of us, but it’s awesome. We made it through starting this thing and making it through the toil . . . to be here, it’s a blessing. It really opens your eyes and brings you down and you see things a little more clear, in a weird way.”
