The past and the present collided during Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys' 2017 ACM Awards performance. The iconic '90s boy band (Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Kevin Richardson) and the country duo (Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley) performed a medley for the audience assembled at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sunday night (April 2).

The whole entourage performed FGL's new single "God, Your Mama and Me," and then things got crazy. It turned into a blast to the past as they launched into "Everybody." Pyro and dancers came flying out onstage as they performed the song just like everyone remembers from the '90s -- complete with the dance moves. Though the guys of FGL are likely not accustomed to choreographed dance, they blended right in with BSB.

FGL and BSB got fans buzzing when they announced their collaboration, “God, Your Mama and Me." The song appears on Florida Georgia Line's Dig Your Roots record; its accompanying music video is made up of home videos from all of the the artists.

Hubbard and Kelley's third studio album, Dig Your Roots, is different than any other project that they've released: "There’s just a lot of depth to this record, and a lot of these songs really do have a special meaning,” Hubbard says. “It’s hard to pick just one, because they all carry their own weight, in a way, and their own purpose and reason for being on the record.”

FGL's Smooth Tour 2017 will begin on June 2 in Austin, Texas, and in addition to Chris Lane and Nelly, they're bringing the guys of BSB along for three stadium shows. The trek is currently scheduled to wrap up with two shows in Alpharetta, Ga., on Oct. 20 and 21; ticketing details are available on FloridaGeorgiaLine.com.
