Eric Church performed his latest single, 'Give Me Back My Hometown' during the 2014 ACM Awards.

The song, which is second single from his 'The Outsiders' album, got the audience on their feet and clapping along. With a backdrop of living room furniture, Church belted out lines like, "You can have my grandma's locket / The knife out of my grandpa's pocket / Yeah my state champion jacket / I don't care you can have it / Every made memory .. Give me back my hometown."

Church co-wrote the song with veteran tunesmith Luke Laird. The song was part of a cryptic series of videos the North Carolina native released, that he says will tell a story as the album progresses.

“We’ve conceived and conceptualized what these videos are gonna be,” he explains. “There’s a storyline, so basically everybody you see in the ‘Give Me Back My Hometown’ video, all the characters, they each have a story line and they all relate to each other.”
