After announcing the first of her Pure & Simple Tour stops in late April, Dolly Parton has added even more dates to the trek, which will be her largest North American tour in more than 20 years. Now, shows are scheduled through November.

Parton will begin her Pure & Simple Tour on June 3 in Greensboro, N.C. (and she won't be canceling the show due to the state's controversial "bathroom law"). New concert locations include Denver, Colo.'s Red Rocks Amphitheater and Los Angeles, Calif.'s Hollywood Bowl, as well as a show in Parton's hometown of Pigeon Forge, Tenn. A full list of currently announced dates is below, and more information is available on Parton’s official website.

Although she’s launching a pretty extensive trek, Parton admits that she “wasn’t really planning to do a tour this year.”

“I thought, ‘Well, I don’t really have the time; I don’t want to take the time to work up some big show with all kinds of stuff behind [it],’” Parton admits. “[But] I know I can sing. I know I’ve got all these songs … And I thought, ‘Well, I have my stories. I have my songs.’”

The singer’s shows will be largely acoustic, allowing her voice to take center stage.

“I’ll do a lot of talking. What else would I do, right?” she jokes. “We’re excited about the whole show. We did some shows at the Ryman last year and some shows at Dollywood for the Imagination Library, and we used the Pure & Simple show. We’ve added some new things to it, of course, but people really liked it. They said they could hear good, they could see good. We’re excited about that.”

Parton’s tour will also coincide with the release of a new double-disc album, Pure & Simple With Dolly’s Biggest Hits, which will include some brand-new songs as well as several beloved classics. An exact release date has not yet been announced, but a press release notes that the project is expected this summer.
