Dixie Chick Welcomes Baby Girl

Dixie Chicks co-founder and fiddle player Martie Maguire gave birth Friday to her third daughter. Harper Rosie Maguire weighed in at 7 lbs, 10 ounces. She joins older sisters Eva Ruth and Kathleen Emilie, twins who were born in April 2004.

"Martie is doing very well, and Gareth and the family are over the moon," reads a statement on the Chicks' official website.

The newest Maguire is the eighth Dixie chickadee. Lead singer Natalie Maines Pasdar has two sons, and guitarist/banjo player Emily Robison has two sons and a daughter.
