Dierks Bentley Blogs for Stanley Cup Playoffs

Dierks Bentley will join 'Juno' director Jason Reitman, 'Bones' star David Boreanaz and more than a dozen other celebrities in blogging for the National Hockey League about their favorite teams during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Bentley, who plays on an intramural hockey team, will blog about the Nashville Predators. The team begins a best-of-seven series Thursday with the Western Conference's top team, the Detroit Red Wings.

"Like all hockey fans in Nashville and Tennessee, I am so psyched the Preds made the playoffs," says Bentley, who once filmed a promo for the team in which he got checked by Predators right wing Jordin Tootoo. "We've got a tough series coming up against Detroit in the first round, but we have done pretty well against them here towards the end of the season. They are going to be tough to beat, especially with some of their guys returning from injuries, but we got the guys and the heart to win. I'm looking forward to blogging about the games. I'm friends with a couple of the players and will be adding their comments to the blog as well."
