Dierks Bentley Performs ‘Black’ at 2017 ACM Awards

Dierks Bentley performed “Black” at the 2017 ACM Awards on Sunday night (April 2).

Sometimes the best performances are the simplest. Bentley proved that if your song is strong enough, you don’t need pyrotechnics or dancers to captivate the crowd. Wearing a white T-shirt and jeans, Bentley did what he does best: perform.

Bentley is playing triple duty at the 2017 ACM Awards, as a performer, a nominee and a co-host! Bentley is helming the Las Vegas-based awards show for the second year in a row with his friend Luke Bryan; he also earned three ACM nominations this year: Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (for Black) and Vocal Event of the Year (for his collaboration with Elle King on “Different for Girls”).

Following the ACMs, Bentley will continue his What the Hell World Tour, with Cole Swindell and ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year winner Jon Pardi as openers. He recently teamed up with Swindell for the rising star’s latest single, “Flatliner.”
