Somewhere on a beach? Nah -- Dierks Bentley's going to be spending his summer somewhere on the road instead. The country star has revealed the first details of his Summer 2016 tour.

Following four European tour dates in April, the North American leg of Bentley's 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour is scheduled to kick off on May 12 in Holmdel, N.J., at the PNC Bank Arts Center. An initial list of cities is below, although complete details have yet to be announced.

"So looking forward to the summer, the tour, the new single. It's gonna be a big 2016 ...," Bentley tells E! "See you somewhere on a beach this summer."

Randy Houser and Cam will be joining Bentley on his 2016 trek.

"I've toured with Randy before, and he's just a great dude — on stage and backstage," Bentley says. "And I've gotten to know Cam a little over the last year, and she's fun as hell, too, and so talented. It's going to be a big summer for sure."

In addition to being the namesake of his 2016 summer tour, "Somewhere on a Beach" is also Bentley's very first single from his upcoming new album, Black.

"This album is about ALL phases of a relationship, including the breakups. "Beach" is a pretty blunt take on that wild rebound we've all had or maybe imagined having," the singer explains. "The carefree attitude is exactly the spirit we wanted to bring out on the road this year."

Select 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour shows will be on sale beginning on Jan. 29, as part of Live Nation's Country Megaticket. More information is available at Megaticket.com and Dierks.com.

An official release date for Black has not yet been announced, but the album is already available for pre-order via Bentley’s official website. Fans who pre-order the disc will receive bonus tracks and videos, special merchandise and “Black Card” member experiences on Bentley’s 2016 tour.
