When Jana Kramer and husband Michael Caussin separated in late August, sources reported that Caussin was being treated for undisclosed reasons at a rehabilitation center. Rumors began to swirl that he had entered rehab for sex addiction, and now, Kramer is herself saying that Caussin cheated on her -- and he has issued an apology.

“Mike was the biggest of the betrayals because it was the first time in a relationship where I truly loved the version of me,” Kramer tells People. “I didn’t feel I had to prove that I was good enough; I was vulnerable and finally at peace with myself. But I was fooled.”

When asked for comment on the allegations, Caussin tells the magazine, "I acknowledge that certain actions and behaviors have caused issues in my marriage, and I am deeply sorry for the pain I have caused Jana. I have and will continue to take the steps needed to change who I am as a person in order to be a better husband and father.”

Kramer and Caussin were married in 2015, and the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jolie Rae Caussin, in January. Prior to their relationship, Kramer was engaged to Brantley Gilbert, married to actor Johnathon Schaech and married to a man named Michael Gambino, whom Kramer recently revealed was abusive and tried to kill her.

“I am truly starting to figure out my worth,” Kramer admits. "My main problem, which is one reason why I’ve been in bad relationships, is that a family is all I want. It’s all I’ve dreamed of. I wanted to be loved, and I wanted to love someone.”
