Darius Rucker has made quite a name for himself as a country artist but the 'I Got Nothin'' singer admits that his days as a rock star may not be over just yet.

"We'll always be together," Darius tells CBSNews.com of his Grammy-winning band, Hootie & The Blowfish. "I don't think we'll ever break up totally. We're Hootie & the Blowfish ... We'll make another record and do another tour someday. I don't know when, but it will happen. There's one more in us."

Although no time frame was given, Darius did give some insight on his next solo project as a country artist. "We'll start recording in January," he revealed. "It will be out next year."

His next project will be the follow up to the singer's 2010 release, 'Charleston, SC 1966,' which yielded the hits 'Come Back Song' and 'This,' with both reaching the top spot. Darius has sold nearly two million albums and more than three million singles as a country artist.
