Darius Rucker just released the video for his latest single, "If I Told You " ... and you can watch the music video above!

The black-and-white video opens on Rucker in a limo taking him to Capitol Records. He walks down the hallway, observing the framed photos of the dozens of stars who have recorded there, and then enters Studio A and starts singing.

The video cuts between shots of Rucker in the recording studio and shots of him singing outside -- on a rooftop, in a car, over a mountain at night. There's a woman in the video, too, presumably the person Rucker is addressing when he asks, "If I told you the mess that I can be when there’s no one there to see / Could you look the other way? / Could you love me anyway?" We see her in the rearview mirror of a car, splashing in the surf and in the Capitol Records building herself. The nature and the future of their relationship is left ambiguous.

"If I Told You" was written by Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Shane McAnally, and it is the first single off of Rucker's upcoming fifth solo country album.

Rucker recently wrapped up his Good for a Good Time Tour. "If I Told You" is available for download on iTunes.
