Darius Rucker Joins American Red Cross Celebrity Cabinet

Darius Rucker has been added to the American Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet, joining fellow country singers Reba McEntire, Sara Evans, Rascal Flatts and Wynonna in the elite 40-member celebrity group.

"Whether it is a call to action for blood drives, disaster relief or just community outreach, the American Red Cross does an extraordinary job at not only meeting the immediate needs of a community but also the preparation and planning for long-term support," Darius says. "I am honored that they would include me in the cabinet as a member and contributor."

The celebrity cabinet was established to promote Red Cross services through volunteer work, emergency preparation and simple assistance to those in need. New inductees also include Emmy and Tony award winner Kristin Chenoweth, talk show host and designer Nate Berkus and Latin music star Rogelio Martinez.
