Craig Wayne Boyd and Fiancee Taylor Borland Are Expecting a Baby

Congratulations are in order for Craig Wayne Boyd and his fiancee, Taylor Borland: They are expecting a baby!

Boyd shared the news by posting a sweet (and seasonally appropriate) photo on social media on Sunday (Oct. 11). Four jack-o-lanterns are lined up on a table: one representing Boyd, another representing Borland, a third representing Boyd's 3-year-old son Jax ... and the final pumpkin, with a question mark carved into it, representing the new baby.

"And then there were 4 ...," Boyd writes in the photo's caption on Instagram, adding numerous hashtags, including "#newlife" and "#blessed."

Borland shared the same picture on her Instagram account, writing, "Happy Halloween from the four of us!!! #gourdgeous"

The couple also subtly dropped the news that their new bundle of joy is a girl. Boyd and Borland included the hashtags "#itsagirl" and "#babygirl," respectively, with their photos.

Boyd and Borland met in December of 2014, just one day after he won Season 7 of The Voice. They got engaged in June, but they didn't share the news publicly until the end of August.

“She is the one that helps me get away from all of the craziness and keeps me grounded,” Boyd says. “I had thought of a lot of different ways of asking her to marry me, but I thought, what better place to do it than after a show, when we were just there hanging out with my band family in June."

At the end of March, Boyd headed into the studio to work on his first post-The Voice album. Before that, he was performing in Las Vegas, as the opening act of Rascal Flatts‘ Vegas Riot! residency.
