Craig Morgan took time out of a busy schedule to grant a birthday wish for a teenager battling a rare illness last week.

Sarah Gabbard is a teenage girl battling Sanfilippo Syndrome, and her single wish was to meet the country singer. She turned 14 on Feb. 14, and after hearing about her request from Make-a-Wish Mississippi, Morgan decided to make it come true.

The singer, who has been out on the road in support of his latest album, 'The Journey: Livin' Hits,' made Sarah's day by stopping in to see her in Biloxi, Miss., the day before her birthday. He posted the picture above to Facebook, and expressed gratitude at being able to help.

“Thanks to Make-a-Wish Mississippi, I had the opportunity to meet Sarah yesterday,” Morgan wrote. “Today she turns 14. Let’s all wish this amazing young lady a very Happy Birthday. #HappyBirthdaySarah”

The singer has been making the rounds promoting his latest single, 'Wake Up Lovin' You,' which he has called "the song of my career." Sarah's mom, Laurie Harmon, also took to Facebook to publicly express her gratitude.

“Thank you Craig Morgan and your team along with Make-a-Wish for making my daughter’s dream come true from the bottom of our hearts,” she wrote. “It was a perfect day.”
