Chris Young doesn't mind if fans get a little rowdy at his shows, but he does draw a line when it comes to violence. The singer proved that point at his concert in Ruston, La., last week, when he stopped his performance mid-song to show an unruly fan the exit door.

"Hey, a-- clown that just pushed a lady in the face, get the f--- out of my show," Chris yelled from the stage after just a few verses of 'Gettin' You Home (the Black Dress Song).'

Before resuming his performance, the Tennessee native asked the victim if she was OK and apologized to the audience for his colorful language. As fans cheered wildly, security escorted the culprit out of the building and Chris collected his cool.

"The only way I know how to fix this is a song about doing 'it'," he said with a laugh. "So, uh ... chorus, gentlemen!"

"Awesome show tonight!!!" Chris tweeted after the show. "Thanks guys! Also, sorry for swearing and kicking someone out, but a dude pushing a girl in the face is not cool."

His act of chivalry earned the country star a nod of approval from his upcoming tour boss, Miranda Lambert, who tweeted: "That's awesome! Love u 4 it," prompting Chris to add, "It was ridiculous. A guy wants to fight a guy that's one thing. But you don't hit a woman."

The 'Tomorrow' singer isn't the only country star who has given misbehaving fans the boot. Tim McGraw has ejected fans from his concerts twice, while earlier this year, Darius Rucker's security kicked out a concertgoer who jumped onto the stage.

Chris will head out with fellow opening act Jerrod Niemann on Miranda's On Fire tour, which kicks off in January. The 26-year-old, who spent much of 2011 on the road with Jason Aldean, finds it a bit surreal to play before packed arenas instead of small clubs.

"I'd find myself going up to people in my band and saying, 'Do you remember not so long ago we played before 100 people, and 30 left by the end of show?'" he recalls to The Boot. "They'd say, 'Yeah, you already said that.' It is exciting to know where we've been and hopefully see where we're headed."

Chris will play several solo shows throughout the remainder of the year, including three nights at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, before the On Fire tour begins on January 12. Keep track of his schedule here.
