Chris Young's newest album, I'm Comin' Over, has made a big splash on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart: The disc, his fifth, has debuted at No. 1.

I'm Comin' Over sold 57,147 units in its first week, according to Nielsen Music, enough to propel the record to the top of the country albums chart. The project also sits at No. 5 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

I'm Comin' Over's title track, which has been certified gold, has now notched two weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. The singer-songwriter was surprised with the news that the track had hit No. 1 while appearing on Today.

While some artists may not want to know the numbers, Young is all about it.

“Yeah, I’ve got all the login access for Mediabase,” Young tells The Boot. “My label laughs at me because I read the stuff about as well as anybody.

“… It doesn’t make me anxious looking at it. It’s just who I am,” he adds. “I want to know numbers.”

I’m Comin’ Over features 11 tracks, nine of which Young co-wrote. It is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

The artist recently added more tour dates to his I’m Comin’ Over World Tour. More information about the trek can be found on Young's website.
