After engaging in a Twitter battle with Kacey Musgraves, morning radio host Bobby Bones has apologized to the country star.

Bones released a video on YouTube apologizing to Musgraves after the two engaged in a back and forth on Twitter. The argument began in January after an interview that Bones aired on the Bobby Bones Show that was edited to make the singer sound uninterested and rude.

Musgraves was upset about the editing and after Bones tried to contact her multiple times on the social media platform, she tweeted at him about her frustration and the two began posting sparring messages. The tweets can be seen at CM Chat.

Bones posted his apology video on March 1, telling Musgraves that he is sorry and inviting her to play at Pimpin Joy Week, which Bones puts on in an effort to spread joy. The event already has an all-star lineup that includes Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, Dan + Shay and more.

"I think it would be cool if you came in and played a couple songs and we could show people that just because you fight, it doesn't mean you always have to be fighting," Bones says.

Bones filmed the video while at the airport in Madison, Wis., saying that he was sending out the apology because "if I didn't put this out there I think I would probably be a little angry at myself. So I'm swallowing my pride here."
