While it's common for married couples to fight over the TV remote, it's a little out of the ordinary for a couple to wage a battle over other people's remotes! Not surprisingly, though, that's the scenario that played out with newlyweds Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert when they appeared on competing morning shows Friday (July 8).

While Blake was scheduled to appear on NBC's 'Today' show, Miranda was slated to take the stage at ABC's 'Good Morning America.' It didn't take long for the country couple to weigh in via Twitter regarding which performance fans should be tuning in to.

"I just landed in NYC for Today Show tomorrow!" Blake tweeted Thursday. "If y'all are watching, I'll be the drunk guy singing with gray hair on the sides."

Miranda quickly took exception to Blake's tweet, replying with her own tweet, asserting, "They won't be watching you. They will be watching me!"

Shortly thereafter, though, Miranda added this sensible solution: "OK. Blake is on the Today Show tomorrow. Watch one, record the other. His fist is big, but my Pistol Annies are bigger! Hehehe." (The Pistol Annies, Miranda's trio with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, released their debut single, 'Hell on Heels,' in May.) "Blake, don't worry, everyone will TiVo you!" she added.

Miranda seemed to believe she had a secret weapon when it came to getting fans to tune into GMA. "I have boobs," she jokingly shared with her Twitter followers.

"True, but only two," Blake shot back.

"Well, if you count Pistol Annies, I have six!" Miranda explained.

"Are these common marital problems?" 'The Voice' coach asked.

Blake Shelton's 'Red River Blue' hits stores July 12, while Pistol Annies' debut disc drops August 23. Miranda also used her GMA appearance to announce that her new album, 'Four the Record,' (her fourth) will be released November 1.
