Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus Talk Paparazzi and Tattoos
Billy Ray Cyrus has been famous for almost two decades, but he's never had to deal with the media quite so much as he has lately, now that his daughter Miley is one of the most famous faces in the biz. Cyrus says he's not a big fan of the paparazzi who consistently chase Miley, but he does have a strategy for dealing with them.
"When I see people trying to take pictures of my little girl, I usually try to roll down the window and get a picture of them, because I just want to know who's stalking my family," he said on 'Extra.' "I'll go knock on the window and say, 'I just want to see your face, because you're taking pictures of my little girl.'"
Miley jokes that her dad also tells the paps, "If I have to hunt you down and kill you, then I need to know what you look like."
The father-daughter team also told 'Extra' the story behind Cyrus' tiny heart tattoo on his left hand. Miley herself drew it there one Sunday in church. So, they went straight from church to a tattoo parlor to immortalize the drawing. The "makeover" continued later that day when Miley also insisted that her dad get his hair highlighted.
